FAQ

  • Do you ship internationally?

    No. Sorry!
It’s super expensive. Plus, Square would require a hefty monthly fee in order to do variable shipping, so we just do flat-rate, which wouldn’t cover shipping outside of the USA. We do try to make our titles as widely available as possible, so check in with local bookstores and they might be able to get our books for you. They may even already have them on the website if they’re connected to our distributor.

  • Are you open for submissions?

    Probably not.
But the best way to check is to look at the Submissions page.
We put out 4-6 books a year and are mostly a one-person operation, so our time and resources are limited. I may be open for pitch submissions at various times, but I’m generally not sure when that will be until it happens.

  • Is there going to be a Weirdpunk Sub Club next year?

    Most assuredly!
The Weirdpunk Sub Club started out an experiment that I wasn’t sure would work or not. But it has been super successful and something I’ve become extremely proud of. As long as it makes sense to keep doing it—as long as the people are there wanting to sign up—I’ll keep it going! Check the SubClub page for more info on this year’s SubClub. Or, check the Store page to subscribe if it is currently still available.

  • My order hasn't arrived yet, what should I do?

I’ve started attaching tracking #s to all orders, so start there. Also make sure that your order doesn’t have any pre-order items in it, as I wait until everything is here to ship out an order.
If it looks like it’s lost in the mail, hit me up by responding to the shipping or order verification email and I’ll do my best to get it taken care of for you.

  • What type of books do you publish? What is Weird Horror?

Weird Horror is a term some friends of mine and I started using when referring to our own work. We are certainly not the only folks using that term, and what it means is pretty subjective but for us, it’s all about the stranger possibilities of what horror is and can be. Stories that blend horror subgenres, stories on the weirder end of the horror spectrum, stories that avoid common tropes and character types, stories that evoke compeling emotions and surreal atmospheres, stories that don’t fit nicely into one category. Horror of the cosmic and body varieties. Work like Kathe Koja, Thomas Ligotti, David Cronenberg, and Nathan Ballingrud. Horror influenced by non-horror writers like Kathe Acker, JG Ballard, Georges Bataille, and Flannery O’Connor. Contemporary work that might fit in the old Dell Abyss lineup or straddles the lines between the Cult and Horror sections of an old video store; between the horror and literature and experimental genres of fiction.
We like that weird shit. And that’s what we publish.

  • Why do you sell a tarot deck?

Check the multi-stabber tarot page for more info on that.
But long story short: my late wife was working on a tarot deck when she died and some friends helped finish it so we made it available to purchase.
